Date and Location
The talks will take place in the Frank Adams Seminar Room 1, on Monday 7 April 2008.

Poincare duality for K-theory of equivariant complex projective spaces
Abstract: I shall make explicit Poincare duality for the equivariant K-theory of equivariant complex projective spaces. The case of the trivial group provides an alternative to what Adams does in his Blue Book. - 12.30 - 2.30
- Lunch
- 2.30 - 3.30

Equivariant Pontrjagin rings and loop homology
Abstract: - 3.30 - 4.00, Atrium Bridge

Lionel Schwartz (Paris 13)
Injective resolutions of unstable modules
Abstract: We describe minimal injective resolutions of mod 2 cohomology of certain Thom spctra. Then we give homotopical applications. This is motivated by combinatorial identities.
Travel support
Everyone who wishes to participate is welcome, particularly postgraduate students. We shall operate the usual criterea for assistance with travel expenses, but beneficiaries will need to complete the standard forms, and should come armed with NI numbers and details of UK bank accounts. Please email nigel.ray(at)manchester.ac.uk if you expect to attend, so that we can cater for appropriate numbers.
