Abstracts

The abstracts for all talks and posters at the conference will be printed in the programme to be given out to attendees on the day.

Advice on preparing presentations

Talks and posters should be kept at a level at which all maths PhD students (regardless of year or research area) are able to understand.

When preparing an oral presentation, please bear in mind that you have a 30 minute time slot, (45 minutes for pure talks), which includes questions/changeover. Please try to keep within your allocated time slot!

Posters should be A1 in size. Printing costs will be paid for by the conference. You can either get your poster printed yourself at IT Services (and hand us your receipt - should cost no more than £8 at IT Services) or email us your poster which we can print for you.
