Venue

The conference will be held in the Manchester Institute for Mathematical Sciences (MIMS) at the University of Manchester. This is part of the School of Mathematics, in the newly constructed Alan Turing Building, which is number 46 on the campus map available here.

The facilities are purpose-built, and include the Frank Adams Seminar Room that seats about 70 (and can be split 25/45), a common room with blackboards, a simple kitchen, and machines for the use of visitors. We are very proud of this space! Recent images of MIMS and the Alan Turing Building are now available here, thanks to Nick Higham, Director of MIMS.

The Alan Turing Building is about 15 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly rail station, which connects to all parts of the UK by frequent mainline services. These include swift and regular trains to/from Manchester Airport throughout the day and night; the airport's journey planner can be very useful for making travel arrangements.
