Mathematics Research Students' Conference (MRSC)

The University of Manchester Mathematics Research Students' Conference 2008 will take place on Monday 12th May 2008, at Hulme Hall.

Registration closes on Friday 11 April! Please register if you wish to attend the conference.

Building on the successes of MRSC 2007, MRSC 2008 will provide a relatively informal forum for discussion of cutting edge research topics taking the form of a day of talks and posters delivered by postgraduate students.

Interaction being one of the core aims of the conference, numerous opportunities for socialising and fruitful interdisciplinary discussion will be provided in between the more structured talks.


Proposed format

The event will focus on sessions of half hour talks held throughout the day, designed with universal accessibility in mind. Scattered between these will be various coffee/poster sessions and a lunch.
