Queen's University Belfast

High performance and distributed computing pervades and supports many areas of research activity in computational science at Queen’s University Belfast

Computer science expertise is available in the design of system software for parallel and distributed computing; the development of parallel computer architectures; the design and implementation of robust algorithms and numerical software that can exploit HPC, grid and novel architectures, including FPGAs and GPUs.

Domain expertise is available in atomic, molecular and optical physics and in atomistic simulation.

The CPC International Program Library, a repository of computational science software including HPC numerical and computational applications, is administered by QUB on behalf of Elsevier.
