EU Scholarships
EFMC7 has a limited number of Marie Curie scholarships to award. Full scholarships will include contributions for travel (to a maximum of 430 Euros), registration (to a maximum of 165 Euros) and living expenses (to a maximum of 375 Euros).
Scholarship application procedure
Applicants are requested to:
- Select the "Applying for EU funding?" box during registration.
- Send a covering letter in PDF format (detailing why support is requested and the predicted expenditure).
- Send a CV/resume in PDF format.
- Send a letter of recommendation from their institution/department in PDF format
Preference will be given to younger researchers, and the committee may in certain circumstances offer partial scholarships. Applicants will be informed of the committee's decision shortly after July 4th, 2008. Please note that successful applicants will be required to pay registration fees as normal, and then claim the scholarship monies (including registration fees) after the meeting direct from EUROMECH; all receipts (including airline boarding passes if appropriate) will be required.
